报告摘要:Isogeometric analysis is a recent technology for numerical simulation, unifying computer aided design and finite element analysis. It possesses significant advantages over thetraditional finite element method. These include higher regularity of the isogeometric discretizations of PDEs,enhanced robustness in a number of practical applications, and improved accuracy of the obtained numericalsolutions.However, it has been noted that these advantages come at the price of increased computational complexity perdegree of freedom in the matrix assembly process. This talk will introduce our recent work on the topic of efficient matrix assembly in isogeometric analysis.
报告人简介:
潘茂东,南京航空航天大学数学系副研究员。2012年于南京师范大学获学士学位,2017年于中国科学技术大学获理学博士学位,导师陈发来教授。随后分别在中国科学技术大学、奥地利林茨大学、奥地利科学院计算与应用数学研究所从事博士后研究。其主要研究领域为计算几何与等几何分析,已在CMAME, IEEE TVCG, CAD, CAGD等本领域顶级、权威期刊上发表论文10余篇。曾主持中国博士后科学基金、安徽省青年科学基金及核心参与多项国家自然科学基金面上项目。
